Whether or not you like to admit it, you care about the way you look. Leaving the house looking less than your best can have a significant impact on your overall confidence and productivity. Our faces are what we show the world every time we interact, and there’s a way you can ensure yours shines. A chemical peel is a technique used to improve not only the appearance of the skin on your face but also your hands and neck. Using a special chemical formula, it induces exfoliation that causes old skin cells to fall off and reveal a more youthful and vibrant you.
A Variety of Benefits
Aside from removing dead skin cells, there are numerous other conditions for which chemical peels can provide a viable solution. Just a few of these include:
Who Makes a Good Candidate for Chemical Peels?
In general terms, those who have fairer skin make better candidates for chemical peels. However, this doesn’t mean darker-skinned clients can’t benefit. Depending on the problem being treated, this method could prove highly effective. Before getting a treatment, it’s a good idea to schedule a consultation here at our Millcreek Utah spa. During this time, you can address all your concerns with the therapist, and they can provide a more individualized analysis of the results you can expect based on your unique circumstances for optimal end results.
Slow and Steady Wins the Race
Good things come to those with patience, and this is certainly true when it comes to chemical peels. Many patients expect to see meaningful results after a single session of deep chemical peel. A more effective approach is to start with a lower strength peel and work your way up to applying it on a more regular basis. Consistency is key, and many of our Murray area patients have found this to be a better approach. Whether you’re suffering with sunspots, unsightly wrinkles, or just want to rejuvenate your appearance, a chemical peel could provide the answers you’re looking for.
*All our treatments include time to get onto the table with a consultation (5 min.) and time to get off the table and changed after your treatment (5 min.)
